PAST CONCERTS
REDWOOD CHAMBER CHOIR’S 2018 WINTER CONCERT. On Thursday, December 20th, we celebrated creation’s light through seasonal songs as we welcomed the darkest night. Repertoire included works by Arvo Pärt, Herbert Howells, John Tavener, and winter hymns. Performed at Congregational Church of Soquel, 4951 Soquel Dr. at 7:30 pm.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined Redwood Chamber Choir and Aswat Ensemble for Notes Against the Ban last November. Sharing our hearts and uniting cultures through music creates the efficacy needed to bind humanity in a healthy and evolving way.
Thank you! to everyone who came and experienced our second series "Back to the Garden." And a HUGE thank you to each performer who came together to make this happen! Bravi! A choral performance at its core,"..back to the Garden" was an immersive experience of mystical art, song, sound therapy, oration, and dance! This exciting musical drama retold the story of Adam and Eve and the birth of human consciousness.

Many thanks to everyone who attended one of our three Fall concerts! Our choir members were honored to showcase pieces by three living Estonian composers – Veljo Tormis, Urmas Sisask, and Arvo Pärt – all of whom have integrated musical techniques meant to drive the singer and listener toward a psycho-spiritual experience.
